Hello Beethoven-Ohrenberger Community,
The School Parent Council (SPC) is reminding everyone that it is Teacher Appreciation Week (May 3-7)! The SPC appreciates all the teachers and staff who have been working relentlessly to find ways for our students to keep learning, and challenging their minds, in what has been a continually changing atmosphere. As a Thank You to our teachers and staff the SPC has sponsored a catered breakfast from Roche Brothers on Tuesday, and cupcakes from Donna’s Cakes and Treat Cupcake Bar on Thursday.
We know many of you want to thank your wonderful teachers for all of the amazing work they do with your children too. The combination of technology and the children’s never ending imagination means there are a multitude of ways to show gratitude, and we wanted to share some ideas. For example: draw a picture, make a poster, write a poem, sing a song, make a card, do a dance, shoot a basketball, play an instrument, plant a flower, or whatever way your child wants to say Thank You to their teachers and staff members.
Getting your child’s creation to the teachers is easy and flexible; you can give it in person, send it by email if you scan it into your computer, take a picture of it, or do a video. The options are endless to make your teachers feel appreciated for all they have done, and all they will continue to do, as we all navigate this new world. So share from the heart, and say THANK YOU!
Stay safe, stay healthy, and we will see you all soon!
