Dear Beethoven-Ohrenberger Community,

We are very excited to share more information with you regarding this year’s virtual International Night celebration taking place on Thursday, March 25th at 6:30pm

We will be Zooming Around The World as we take our community on an adventure where they can share and learn about various countries and cultures, discover how to make traditional food dishes from around the globe, and hear what a song sounds like in another language. While it will look a bit different this year, we can’t wait to continue the tradition of the Beethoven-Ohrenberger International Night to recognize and celebrate the beauty and diversity of our community and world.

There are many ways for families to participate:

  • Live Presentation: Share some customs and traditions live on zoom on March 25th (2-3 minutes) Sign up to make a live presentation.
  • Music: Sing a song or play an instrument (2-3 minutes) Sign up to make a musical performance.
  • Art: Create a piece of art that displays what you love most about your cultural heritage. The assignment is posted in your child’s SeeSaw Classroom for Beethoven Students or in Mr. Diamond’s Google Classroom for Ohrenberger Students.
  • Recipes: We all long for the days when a potluck was part of International Night, so let’s share recipes from around the world with one another here! Please submit an email with a word document to Mette and Maryanne. Be sure to include the name of the dish and its country of origin.

Again, we hope you and your family will join us in this celebration of the amazing and diverse world we live in. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mette Arnmark or Holly Jordan.
