Hello Beethoven-Ohrenberger community. The School Parent Council and the International Night Planning Committee needed to postpone International Night, initially scheduled for Thursday, March 26th. We are looking for other options later on in the year and will keep you posted on a future date!
The Planning Committee is continuing to create a virtual space for International Night. Even though the date is changing, we still want the students to submit their art work on See Saw or Google Classroom, and don’t forget to send in your recipes. How great will it be to have art work from all grades and recipes from families, teachers and staff in our very own Beethoven-Ohrenberger Cook Book! Information for submitting art work and recipes is below.
- Art: Create a piece of art that displays what you love most about your cultural heritage. The assignment is posted in your child’s See Saw Classroom for Beethoven students or in Mr. Diamond’s Google Classroom for Ohrenberger students.
- Recipes: We all long for the days when a potluck was part of International Night, so let’s share recipes from around the world with one another here. Please submit in a Word document to Mette (Mette.SPC@gmail.com) and Maryanne (email@example.com). Be sure to include the name of the dish and its country of origin.
We hope you will join us in this celebration of our amazing and diverse school community. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mette Arnmark (Mette.SPC@gmail.com) or Holly Jordan (firstname.lastname@example.org).
